About Karen

With an eye for unique design and a flare for eclectic furniture pieces, Karen brings her design expertise from Alexandria, Virginia to Central Pennsylvania. She has renovated three homes, most recently her home in York. Acting as the General Contractor (and laborer), she has demolished plaster walls, jack-hammered thick-set tile, design and renovated three bathrooms and a kitchen (which includes her design and installation of a wine wall).

Prior to joining David’s, Karen owned two businesses and was an Art Director with StudioGraphX and Bremmer and Goris. With 20+ years of design and business experience and a love for old and new, she will visually and verbally communicate with her clients a joint vision for not only a room, but their entire home.

Karen’s hobbies include shopping for unique vintage furniture, buying way too many shoes, reading, and relaxing with a spicy Zinfandel.
